Terms, Conditions & Cancellation

Welcome to Together or Apart. We’re passionate about working with individuals and couples who have reached a point in their relationship where they are unsure whether to stay together or to separate. We help people have difficult and honest conversations and transform the way they make decisions in a considered, understanding and constructive way. Booking

Together or Apart require full payment for any of the packages within three working days of the booking being confirmed.

Fees and Payment

The agreed fees for the Together or Apart Services are set out on each service payment page.

You must pay our fees and disbursements on receipt of invoice and before delivery of the Together or Apart Services.

If you are paying for Together or Apart services via the payment plan model option (prior to each session), payment must be made before delivery of the Together or Apart services. If you are paying 50% of joint sessions with another party, payment must be received by both parties before delivery of the Together or Apart services.

Cancellations and Postponement

If you need to cancel a booking you must do so no later than 1 week before the date of your first session, for which you have been booked to qualify for a full refund or rebooking for a future date

If you cancel with less than 1 weeks’ notice, your payment will not be refunded.

Where a cancellation is made as part of a block booking, then the refund will be based the paid sum minus on the full single session fee rate for the number of sessions completed, plus a £50 admin fee.

Refunds will be made back to the bank account(s) from which the original payment was made and will be completed within five (5) working days of receipt of cancellation.

Deferring from sessions

A deferral is when a client is unable to complete a session or sessions they have already started, due to unforeseen circumstances and need to pause their sessions and wish continue at a later date. Deferrals need to be requested by clients ASAP; a maximum of one week after missing a service session, by emailing hello@togetherorapart.co.uk with a reason given. Deferrals to other dates and times are dependent on availability.

If we have to cancel

In the very unlikely event that Together or Apart have to cancel your booking, your fee will be refunded in full, or an alternative booking will be made at your convenience if applicable. Every endeavour will be made to inform you of this at the earliest possible opportunity.

In the event that we have to cancel a session or sessions, every effort will be made to either book another session or reschedule that session or remaining sessions or a refund of the remaining sessions will be paid. For example, if booked on a 3-session block booking and the last two sessions need to be cancelled, two thirds of the total booking cost will be refunded or rescheduled.
